Phantom Blade Zero gets surprise Fortnite cosmetics

S-GAME announced a collaboration with Fortnite that ties two in-game cosmetics to purchases of Phantom Blade Zero on the Epic Games Store. Players who pre-order or buy the game on Epic will receive the Soul Outfit and Sanguine Pickaxe & Back Bling in Fortnite immediately.

The same cosmetics will be available for separate purchase in the Fortnite Shop from October 29 through November 5, 2026, matching Phantom Blade Zero’s launch week. Players who do not claim the items through an Epic purchase can still buy them directly in Fortnite during that window.

The collaboration was revealed during S-GAME’s 11-minute gameplay trailer, described by the developer as an “unexpected surprise.” Prior to the reveal, some attention focused on the possibility of a demo, physical edition or additional platform announcements.

Ownership of Phantom Blade Zero on the Epic Games Store is required to unlock the cosmetics instantly in Fortnite. Epic’s online support pages include a FAQ with instructions on redemption, eligibility and troubleshooting for players who encounter issues.

S-GAME is listed as both developer and publisher of Phantom Blade Zero. The company said the game has reached gold status and opened pre-orders alongside the new trailer in August. The title is planned for release on PC and PlayStation platforms.

Epic’s Fortnite items are cosmetic only and do not affect Phantom Blade Zero’s gameplay. The collaboration provides in-game items tied to an Epic purchase and a separate, time-limited shop offering for Fortnite players.
