S-Game’s Phantom Blade Zero sold more than 4 million copies in 72 hours. Its Steam player count peaked at 833,921 on Nov. 1.

S-Game’s action role-playing game Phantom Blade Zero sold more than 4 million copies within 72 hours of its launch, the developer and publisher announced in a social media post.

The game reached a peak of 833,921 concurrent players on Steam on Nov. 1, three days after its release. It continued to record more than 400,000 concurrent players during quieter periods on the platform.

Phantom Blade Zero ranked third on Steam’s most-played games chart, behind Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2.

“Phantom Blade Zero has sold over 4 million copies in just 72 hours! Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support!” S-Game wrote in the post.

The game’s peak concurrent player count was about 10 times higher than the peak recorded by Onimusha: Way of the Sword, another action role-playing game released in 2026.

Phantom Blade Zero is set in an open world with multiple regions and boss encounters. Its combat and progression systems are linked to exploration. The title is S-Game’s first AAA game.
