Phantom Blade Zero priced at $59.99; Deluxe $69.99
S-Game will sell Phantom Blade Zero Standard Edition at $59.99 and a Deluxe Edition at $69.99 with cosmetics, an artbook and the original soundtrack. The game has gone gold; pre-orders opened Aug. 11.
S-Game will release Phantom Blade Zero in two editions. The Standard Edition will retail for $59.99 and contains only the base game. The Deluxe Edition is priced at $69.99 and adds in-game cosmetics, a printed artbook and the original soundtrack.
The studio confirmed the game has gone gold and that pre-orders opened on Aug. 11. S-Game has scheduled a State of Play showcase later in August to present extended gameplay and additional mechanics.
Phantom Blade Zero is described by the developer as a large-scale action-adventure title planned for PC and PlayStation platforms. The gold milestone indicates the final master build is complete and that manufacturing and distribution preparations can proceed.
S-Game framed the pricing to keep the base game at $59.99 while offering a $10 upgrade for the Deluxe extras. Some recent premium editions for high-profile titles have reached $80 or $90.
The Deluxe Edition’s additions are limited to cosmetics, the artbook and the soundtrack. No additional gameplay content, early access or other special-edition features were announced with the pre-order, and the studio has not announced further special editions or a season pass tied to pre-orders.
Earlier developer updates outlined combat systems and estimated playtime, and the studio previously provided a release window without a firm launch date. The upcoming State of Play is expected to provide more detailed information about combat, level structure and total playtime.
