Pixel Perfect update sends players into Wreck-It Ralph world

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Pixel Perfect update arrives July 29 and sends players into Wreck‑It Ralph’s world to rescue Ralph from a rogue arcade machine.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Pixel Perfect update arrives on July 29. The update places players inside the Wreck‑It Ralph setting to follow Vanellope as she tracks a malfunctioning arcade machine and rescues Ralph.

The update adds a Pop City Star Path with free and premium tracks that reward new outfits, furniture, a cat companion and customization items. Developers announced a slate of summer events that will begin with returning Summer Sizzle and Memory Mania and a new Parks Floating Festival; specific rewards and event mechanics were not released.

Quality-of-life changes include the ability to give multiple gifts to Villagers at once and bulk removal tools to clear furniture more quickly. Friendship progression will change: reaching max Friendship Level with a Villager will allow Fast Travel to them and grant a Best Friend Glow, a visual effect that provides special traits while spending time together.

Pixel Perfect will be available on all supported platforms on July 29 and will be offered through Apple Arcade on iOS. Players using Apple devices will need an active Apple Arcade subscription to download the game there; no additional technical requirements or pricing changes were listed with the update announcement.

The release follows the recent addition of Winnie the Pooh content and the Hundred Acre Wood area. Developers have not published a full list of mission steps or event rewards, and described Pixel Perfect as a package of story content, seasonal activities and several user-requested interface and systems improvements.
