Player finds rare Explorer Outfit in Black Flag Resynced

Reddit user -Holliday discovered the Explorer Outfit in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced after diving at coordinates (28,292) and looting an unmarked chest.

On July 13, a Reddit post by user -Holliday reported finding the Explorer Outfit in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced after diving at map coordinates (28,292). The user wrote they spotted air bubbles at the site and hauled up an unmarked chest that contained the white-and-red Brotherhood costume.

The Explorer Outfit originally appeared in 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag as a reward for completing community challenges. Ubisoft had not confirmed whether the costume would return in the Resynced remake, leaving players to search the map and test tips from within the community.

-Holliday wrote they had been exploring after recalling a recent Ubisoft community event that included a riddle pointing to hidden treasure. After jumping from their ship at the listed coordinates, they “immediately saw air bubbles and could not believe” the chest yielded the outfit.

Other community members examined the same spot following the post. One reply from user SWK18 noted the chest “can’t even be seen with a white dot or marked on the map,” indicating the item does not appear under the game’s usual treasure indicators.

The outfit replaces Edward Kenway’s standard clothing with a white-and-red Brotherhood design. For players who missed the costume in the original release, the find provides another chance to obtain the skin in the remake’s updated visuals.

Ubisoft has not confirmed how many similar hidden items exist in Black Flag Resynced or whether the placement is tied to a timed event. The post prompted other players to search the coordinates and share any similar discoveries as they explore the remake’s open seas.
