Pocket Legions launches, puts Roman platoons on mobile

Funigloo released Pocket Legions for Android and iOS, a strategy game where players recruit, train and command Roman platoons across more than 600 stages.

Funigloo has released Pocket Legions for Android and iOS. The game is available now on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store.

Players assemble and equip small units, arrange formations and deploy platoons into large-scale battles set in an ancient Roman-themed world. The campaign includes more than 600 stages and features rival factions and city capture mechanics.

Before each battle players recruit and train troops and select loadouts for their squads. The title pairs combat encounters with city-building elements, allowing players to develop and manage a city between fights. Battles are shown in a chibi art style that contrasts with the historical setting.

Progression centers on unit upgrades, ability unlocks and strategic customization. Different platoon combinations and formations affect how encounters play out. Players face a variety of enemy types and faction layouts that require adjustments to tactics and squad makeup.

Funigloo, the developer behind Ragnarok Sharing Hero, published Pocket Legions for mobile platforms. The game offers stage-based progression, unit customization and city development with stylized visuals on Android and iOS devices.
