Pokémon GO Summer Quest 2026: London pop-up and prize trips

Niantic will run Pokémon GO Summer Quest 2026 across the UK, offering free Timed Research and a physical pop-up at The Green at Boxpark in Shoreditch, London, on August 1–2 and August 8–9, 2026.

Players across the UK will automatically receive a separate nationwide Timed Research event between August 1 and August 9. Trainers who claim the local Timed Research at the Shoreditch pop-up can complete that research through August 31, 2026.

Visitors to the Shoreditch site can unlock the local Timed Research during either weekend. After completing the first research stage at the pop-up, attendees may collect a free coffee at the on-site coffee station, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Local participants who finish the research and use the in-app “What’s Your Favorite?” feature can enter the competition for the Japan prize by posting publicly on Instagram with the hashtag #pokemongosummerquest. The Japan prize includes round-trip flights from the UK to Tokyo and a five-night itinerary for two.

Completing the nationwide Summer Quest Timed Research opens a separate prize opportunity: a trip for two to Pokémon GO Fest 2027 in Europe. That prize covers transportation and a three-night hotel stay for two attendees.

The Shoreditch pop-up will include appearances by YouTubers Miniminter and Chunkz, who are scheduled to meet fans at the event on August 1. Timed Research items must be claimed during the event windows and finished by the end of August. Prize draw entries require following the specified in-app steps and public social sharing where indicated.
