Project R.I.S.E beta returns Aug. 19 after rebuild
Supercell opens a two-week Project R.I.S.E beta on Aug. 19, 2026, for Android and iOS, featuring a redesigned Tower Structure and expanded hero progression through Sept. 2.
Supercell is opening a two-week beta for Project R.I.S.E on Aug. 19, 2026, for Android and iOS. The test runs through Sept. 2 and will be available to selected players through Google Play and TestFlight.
The beta is the studio’s longest playtest for the title to date. It follows months of rebuilding after Supercell canceled a planned “Barely Beta” in 2025 because the team judged that version did not meet its quality and gameplay expectations.
The test gives players a first public look at redesigned core systems. The Tower Structure now offers three difficulty paths-Brave, Heroic and Legendary-that players choose before a climb. The options apply to both solo and cooperative sessions.
Hero progression has been expanded with additional layers of advancement for characters. The beta also includes improvements to cooperative gameplay mechanics and adjustments to progression and gameplay flow.
Interested players can register on the official beta page. Selected participants will receive invites via Google Play or TestFlight within 12 hours of the beta start.
Project R.I.S.E was first shown under the name Clash Heroes and has gone through alpha and pre-alpha tests. The two-week playtest will provide data on matchmaking, session balance and progression across a broad set of devices.
