Red Bull offers ‘Wings of the Tempest’ sail for Black Flag

Red Bull is offering the “Wings of the Tempest” sail for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced to players who complete a short quiz on the company website. Participants must register for a Red Bull account, answer at least one of six quiz questions correctly and redeem a unique code sent by email to claim the sail.

The quiz takes about a minute to finish. After the quiz, Red Bull emails a single-use redemption code and a link that logs players into their account to complete the claim. The sail displays Red Bull’s charging bull logo and the blue-and-silver colors used on the company’s cans.

Players can equip the sail only after they have unlocked access to the in-game Harbormaster. Attempting to apply the sail before meeting that requirement will result in the Harbormaster declining to outfit the ship.

The giveaway replaces a previous Red Bull reward, the Stormrunner trinket, which increases healing received from food, drink and remedies. Players who did not claim the trinket when it was distributed can still find it in the game at coordinates 614,767.

The promotion is one of several recent collaborations between the brand and the game that have offered cosmetic items and gameplay-affecting trinkets. The quiz-based redemption requires minimal effort and delivers a code by email for players to redeem immediately.
