Retro Racer Super Night Riders Arrives on Android
miyu.works released Super Night Riders on Android, a retro-style arcade motorcycle racer first launched on PC and consoles in 2016 and rebooted as Super Night Riders S1 in 2024.
miyu.works has released Super Night Riders on Android, bringing the arcade-style motorcycle racer to Google Play. The game first appeared on PC and consoles in 2016 and was refreshed as Super Night Riders S1 in 2024.
The Android version is available for download on the Google Play Store. No release date for an iOS version has been announced.
Players control Alice, the Red Racer, and aim to travel as far as possible while reaching checkpoints before a timer runs out. Races focus on short, timed runs rather than finishing first. The design draws on motorcycle racers from the 1980s and emphasizes arcade pacing over simulation-style handling.
Each event progresses from day to night and ends at sunrise. The mobile release contains 36 stages spread across six courses. Stages present different environments and increase in difficulty as players advance through checkpoints and tighter time limits.
The game offers two visual modes, Super and Classic, that reference retro arcade aesthetics while running on modern Android hardware. Players must weave between rival riders, avoid collisions and hit checkpoints to extend their run.
miyu.works developed the title as a solo indie studio. The Android launch follows the original 2016 release and the 2024 S1 reboot, which updated the game for current platforms.
No pricing details beyond the Google Play listing were announced and the developer has not provided a timetable for an iOS release.
