Riot Games introduces Hush, VALORANT’s new duelist from China

Riot Games introduced Hush, a duelist from China, at VALORANT Champions Shanghai. She will join the game on Oct. 27 with Season 26 // Act VI.

Riot Games introduced Hush on Oct. 18 during VALORANT Champions Shanghai. Her cinematic trailer aired after the tournament’s opening ceremony and before the grand final. She will become available in VALORANT on Oct. 27 as part of Season 26 // Act VI.

Hush is listed as Agent 31, but she will be the game’s 30th playable agent because Agent 8 has not been released. She will be the third VALORANT agent from China, after Sage and Iso, and will increase the number of duelists to nine.

Hush’s passive ability, Telekinesis, lets her interact with objects from a distance by aiming at them. She can pick up weapons, activate switches and interact with the Spike without standing next to them.

Her C ability, Anchor Relocation, places an anchor at a selected location and lets her teleport to it. She can place the anchor while airborne, briefly hover and then move to the anchor.

Her Q ability, Blind, launches a projectile that she guides with her crosshair. Activating the ability a second time detonates the projectile and blinds players in its area of effect. Her E ability, Disruption, fires another guided projectile. When it hits a surface or opponent, it stuns enemies and changes their positioning. A hit can restore the ability’s charge.

Hush’s ultimate uses a similar projectile system. She launches a projectile in the direction of her crosshair and activates its explosion separately. The detonation lifts characters in the area into the air, disrupting their positions.

Players can recruit Hush through a Recruitment Event by earning experience. She will also be available for 10,000 Kingdom Credits or 1,000 VP. Players with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription linked to a Riot Account will receive access to the agent.

Hush has long, light-colored hair with pink and purple tones, straight bangs and pink eyes. Her dark outfit includes elements inspired by Chinese culture, while glowing pink geometric fragments move around her. Before the announcement, speculation focused on abilities such as copying allies’ skills, passing through walls and using different ultimates based on a team’s side. Riot’s revealed abilities center on mobility, blinding, stunning, space control and remote interaction with objects.
