Rockstar Games emailed newsletter subscribers and console wishlist users to say GTA 6 pre-orders open June 25 and refreshed visuals on the official site.
Rockstar Games has begun emailing newsletter subscribers and players who added Grand Theft Auto VI to their PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S wishlists to remind them that pre-orders open on June 25. The company also updated artwork and release-date treatment on the official GTA 6 website.
The messages were sent to newsletter recipients and to users who bookmarked the game on PlayStation and Xbox storefronts. The emails encourage recipients to be ready to preorder when options go live on June 25.
On the GTA 6 site, Rockstar replaced or adjusted several visual elements, including promotional artwork and the recently revealed official cover art. The updates contain prominent reference to the November 19, 2026 release date.
Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6 will launch on November 19, 2026 as a console exclusive for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game features two playable protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and is set in Leonida, Rockstar’s reimagined version of Florida and a rebuilt Vice City.
Rockstar has not released pricing or details about standard, special or collector’s editions. Those specifics are expected to be announced when pre-orders begin or in the run-up to June 25.
Community reports and leaks indicate a new trailer may appear before or after pre-orders launch and suggest a possible PC release in February 2027; Rockstar has not confirmed any PC plans or a post-console release schedule.
