Rojak Rush is a one-thumb survival RPG for iOS. Its six playable heroes, known as the Kampong Rojak crew, are named after ingredients used in Malaysian and Singaporean rojak. Players drag across the screen to move a hero while attacks happen automatically against waves of Veilbound creatures.
Each level-up gives players three cards. They can choose abilities, combine skills and improve attacks during a run.
The game has 100 stages across 10 chapters. The settings include a moonlit courtyard and the Veil. A guardian appears on every fifth stage. Defeating a guardian adds a new skill to the abilities available in later runs.
Completing the 10th stage opens the Unlimited Battlefield. The mode has no time limit, allows powers to reach level 20 and sends a guardian into the battle every two and a half minutes.
Rojak Rush includes 186 collectible pets, which players summon with moon charms. Up to three pets can fight beside a hero, and each pet has its own skill. The game displays the odds for every summon. Each group of 10 summons includes at least one Epic or higher-rarity pet.
Apple Game Center allows up to three friends to join a game. A daily hunt gives players the same challenge with a new variation and records results on a separate leaderboard.
Rojak Rush is free to download from the App Store and has no advertisements. Optional purchases include moon charms, costumes and three monthly subscriptions. Two subscriptions provide access to the Scythe and Chakram weapons. The Lantern pass gives players three times as many knots from each run and additional charm drops.
