Roomers: Murder Sudoku Logic launches on iOS

Developer Luis Espinal released Roomers – Murder Sudoku Logic on iOS, a puzzle that applies Sudoku rules to murder-mystery cases across 41 hand-checked puzzles.

Luis Espinal released Roomers – Murder Sudoku Logic on iOS via the App Store. The game presents logic puzzles that combine classic Sudoku placement rules with crime-scene floor plans and narrative clues.

Each case places suspects, furniture and clues on a grid that represents a floor plan. Players must place every suspect so each row and column contains exactly one person. Statements from suspects and environmental clues narrow possibilities; when the layout is complete, the murderer is the person left alone in the same room as the victim. The developer says every case has a single solution and is designed to be solved by deduction rather than guessing. On-screen hints can direct players first to the correct suspect, then the room, and finally the exact square.

The release includes 41 hand-checked cases. Puzzles begin on 6×6 grids and progress to 8×8 grids for greater difficulty. Cases are set across 20 themed locations, including dinner parties, ski lodges, aquariums, lighthouses and a grandmother’s house. Each location has its own visual style and supports Light and Dark modes. The game also offers a Daily Case available to all players.

Accessibility and quality-of-life features include VoiceOver support, a pencil-notes tool for marking possibilities, automatic marking, an undo option, haptic feedback and adjustable clue highlighting. The app provides free hints and free case files and includes a set of twelve trophies for players to collect.

An optional one-time purchase called Roomers Unlimited expands access. That purchase adds an endless set of cases, allows retrieval of missed Daily Cases and removes ads. The developer states Roomers Unlimited does not require a subscription and removes the need for an account or an internet connection to use unlocked content.

Roomers – Murder Sudoku Logic is available now for iOS devices through the App Store. At launch, the developer has not provided information about an Android release.
