RunOut: Hothead Paws soft-launches on Android

RunOut – Hothead Paws soft-launched on Android in Brazil and Thailand. Players control cartoon animals who punch, steal coins, dodge traps, sabotage opponents and unlock outfits.
WakaStudio has soft-launched RunOut – Hothead Paws on Android in Brazil and Thailand via the Google Play Store. The game runs short multiplayer rounds that pair racing with obstacle and survival challenges.
Matches combine obstacle-filled stages and a rotation of mini-games. Players control cartoon animal characters and can punch rivals, steal coins, dodge traps and use sabotage tactics to slow opponents.
Mini-games test reflexes and memory and change how rounds play out. Level layouts and trap placement vary between matches, producing unpredictable outcomes.
Players progress by collecting coins and unlocking outfits, skins and accessories to customise characters such as Cappy, Croco and Slowy.
The game uses a bright, cartoon visual style that contrasts with competitive mechanics and player-versus-player interaction.
RunOut is available now on Android in Brazil and Thailand. WakaStudio has not announced an iOS release date or a global launch window.
Soft launches are commonly used by mobile developers to evaluate match stability, player behavior and monetisation systems in smaller markets before wider release.
RunOut’s short social rounds and cosmetic progression align it with other mobile party titles that focus on multiplayer sessions rather than extended single-player campaigns.
