Shinobi NEXUS: Senran Kagura due in Japan Dec. 31

HONEY PARADE GAMES lists Shinobi NEXUS -Senran Kagura for a Japan release on Dec. 31, 2026; iOS pre-orders are open and Android support is planned.

HONEY PARADE GAMES says Shinobi NEXUS -Senran Kagura will launch in Japan on Dec. 31, 2026, according to its App Store listing. The studio lists the game for iOS and Android; iOS pre-orders are open and pre-registration is live on DMM Games, with Google Play registration expected soon.

The title is set three years after Shinobi Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK and follows a new generation of shinobi students as they confront conflicts across multiple academies. The narrative emphasizes growth, friendship and the differing beliefs that guide each character’s decisions.

Gameplay uses a command-based RPG system with ninjutsu techniques and a fast-paced mode described as “hyper-shinobi” action. Characters from earlier entries, including Senkō, Benihime and Kashin, appear in upgraded cel-shaded 3D and will receive full voice acting. Schools such as Gessen Girls’ Academy are represented among returning faces.

The game expands customization features: players can change outfits, use a character communication system and create scenes in an enhanced diorama mode. New character designs are illustrated by Minami Yaegashi, and the roster will include both new characters and returning favorites.

The App Store listing gives the Japan release date but does not specify launch plans for other regions. The developer has confirmed Android and iOS as target platforms; further details on global availability and additional platforms may be announced before release.
