Shrek, Fiona and Puss Join FIFA Heroes Season Pass

FIFA Heroes will add six characters from DreamWorks’ Shrek series in a Shrek Season Pass that goes live on August 10. The pass brings Shrek, Fiona, Puss in Boots, Gingy, Pinocchio and Lord Farquaad into the game’s playable roster and includes themed cosmetic items.

The Season Pass includes the six playable characters plus in-game rewards such as new emojis, a Donkey avatar and a dedicated goal celebration. Players who purchase the pass will be able to use the characters and cosmetics in matches and profile displays inside FIFA Heroes.

The release follows a pattern of crossover content within FIFA Heroes that has expanded the title beyond professional footballers to feature content creators, mythic figures and fictional characters. Publishers have used season passes and timed events to add branded characters and cosmetics to the game.

The Shrek Season Pass launch coincides with the 25th anniversary of the first Shrek film. The timing aligns the in-game content drop with the franchise milestone.

The pass will be available from the FIFA Heroes in-game store beginning August 10. Players can acquire the content there and deploy the characters and cosmetic items in the game after purchase.
