Silver Palace Dichotomy PC beta adds detective content

Silver Palace launched a limited PC ‘Dichotomy’ beta adding detective missions, an enhanced combat system, 15 playable characters and more than 40 hours of content.

Silver Palace has launched a limited PC beta called the ‘Dichotomy’ test. The beta is available only on PC, runs on Unreal Engine 5 and includes a mandatory data wipe at the end of the test period.

The test introduces detective-themed missions and an enhanced combat system designed to emphasize player skill and tactical choices. The developer described the test as an opportunity for players to try new mission types alongside standard open-world RPG activities.

The playable roster has been expanded to 15 characters for squad-based encounters. The beta package contains more than 40 hours of content, allowing testers to access extended story segments and a wider range of gameplay systems than typical short tests.

New zones in the city of Silvernia are part of the build. Testers can solve puzzles, search for treasures and take on investigative assignments. The update also adds lighter diversion mechanics, such as a horse-racing mini-game.

Access is limited to PC. Interested players can pre-register on the game’s official website for a chance to participate in the limited test.

The developer teased a female protagonist three weeks before the beta launch. The Dichotomy test is being used to collect player feedback on combat balance, the detective missions and the expanded roster while demonstrating new city areas and visual work ahead of further public trials or a full release.
