Silver Palace opens PC playtest sign-ups for ‘Dichotomy’
Silver Palace opened sign-ups for Dichotomy, a PC-only playtest that adds a male protagonist, new characters, expanded Silvernia areas and combat tweaks; register by July 16.
Silver Palace has opened sign-ups for Dichotomy, a PC-only playtest for its open-world role-playing game. Registration is available on the developer’s official site through July 16.
The Dichotomy build introduces a male protagonist and expands the game’s cast. The update adds new dialogue, missions and explorable areas in the Silvernia region, and extends the narrative to reveal more of the protagonist’s backstory and relationships among characters introduced in earlier tests.
Developers say the playtest includes tweaks to combat mechanics intended to deliver smoother, more responsive encounters rather than a wholesale redesign. The build also aims to improve performance for players who participated in previous tests.
The session is limited to PC; developers have not announced equivalent testing dates for mobile devices for this specific build.
Silver Palace is an open-world, anime-styled RPG in which players take the role of a detective who also engages in close-quarters combat. Gameplay mixes mystery-solving with party-based combat: players recruit allies and field a team for battles and exploration rather than fighting solo.
A recent trailer for Dichotomy shows a darker visual and tonal approach compared with many open-world gacha titles. The playtest will give participants a chance to try the updated combat, new areas and expanded narrative content.
Those who want to join must register on the game’s official website before the July 16 deadline. The developers have provided no further dates for mobile testing of this build.
