Smilegate opens South Korea pre-registration for Eclipse

Smilegate opened Android and iOS pre-registration in South Korea for Eclipse: The Awakening; the App Store lists a Sept. 30, 2026 South Korea release date.

Smilegate has opened pre-registration on Android and iOS in South Korea for its next-generation mobile MMORPG, Eclipse: The Awakening. The App Store listing shows a Sept. 30, 2026 release date for South Korea.

Smilegate describes the game’s progression as beginner-friendly, aiming to limit early complexity while supporting deeper character growth over time. The Sanctuary system allows characters to continue gaining progress while players are offline.

Cooperative play and guild features are designed to accelerate progression and add tactical options in combat. Players can join guilds to coordinate activities and challenge powerful monsters across the game world.

Combat allows characters to combine skills from two different disciplines to create customized fighting styles and respond to varied encounters. The game is set in a fantasy world and uses high-fidelity visuals alongside layered progression systems.

Smilegate has linked several in-game rewards to pre-registration milestones. At 100,000 pre-registrations, players who sign up will receive 10 Enhancement Crystal Selection Boxes, 10 Guild Research Support Certificates, five Weapon Appearance Summon Ticket II, five Transcendent Summon Ticket II, two pre-registration consumable boxes and 1,000,000 Gold.

Pre-registration is available through the Google Play Store and the App Store in South Korea. Smilegate has not announced plans for release outside South Korea or provided a global launch schedule.
