Sorry We’re Closed Is Free on Epic Games This Week

À La Mode’s survival horror game Sorry We’re Closed is free on the Epic Games Store from Oct. 29 to Nov. 5, 2026, and can be kept after it is claimed.
À La Mode’s Sorry We’re Closed is available at no cost on the Epic Games Store from Thursday, Oct. 29, through Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026. The promotion began at 8 a.m. PT, 11 a.m. ET, 3 p.m. GMT and 4 p.m. CET, and ends at the same times on Nov. 5.
Players who claim the game during the promotion can keep it in their Epic Games Store libraries after the offer ends.
The game follows Michelle, a young woman in London who becomes caught between the human world and a demonic dimension. An encounter opens her Third Eye, allowing her to see both worlds. She then becomes involved in conflicts between humans, angels and demons.
Sorry We’re Closed uses fixed third-person camera angles for much of its exploration and first-person sections for combat. Its locations include decaying environments, while its monsters reflect themes involving desire, relationships and guilt. Michelle uses a Hellhound pistol while investigating the underworld.
The story centers on the Operator, a sinister figure who claims to be able to restore Michelle’s connection with a lost love. Players choose how Michelle responds to other characters and decide which relationships she will try to preserve.
The game has been compared with Konami’s Silent Hill 2 because of its survival horror format, psychological themes and focus on difficult personal choices. Its story also examines the differences between love, codependency, obsession and hatred.
