Star Sailors launches on iOS and Android with anime art
Com2uS released Star Sailors on iOS and Android, a collectible turn-based RPG with fairytale fantasy, anime-style art by Coax and combat built around Break and Burst mechanics.
Com2uS has released Star Sailors on the App Store and Google Play. The game is a collectible turn-based role-playing title available now for iOS and Android devices.
The game is set after an event called the Magic Explosion. Players search for Heirlooms to restore the Human Kingdom and follow a compass motif that guides progression through fragmented areas.
Art direction is led by illustrator Coax. Characters use an anime-style, cartoon rendering while environments aim for a handcrafted look. Newly recruited heroes appear in scene-based interactions rather than only on static portrait screens.
Combat is turn-based and centers on Break effects and Burst Chance quick-time events. Break effects reduce enemy defenses, and Burst Chance allows players to convert stacked buffs into a concentrated attack when an opponent is sufficiently weakened.
Team composition mixes Classes, Monsters and Anomalies to create synergies. The game includes a Link system to add new recruits into a five-member party and a Sweep feature to skip repeat grind stages.
At launch Com2uS is offering rewards to players who log in early. Every account receives 2,000 Diamonds, 400,000 Gold and 20 Silver Compasses, with extra bonuses for those who pre-registered. A seven-day check-in event is active and a trial stage featuring Shadow Elf Heidi Underborn lets players test a character’s kit before committing resources.
Star Sailors is available for download now on both app stores.
