Star Trek: Voyager expansion pass launches with Delta Chronicles

Gamexcite has released a four-part expansion pass for Star Trek: Voyager: Across the Unknown. Delta Chronicles is live and adds five missions, two characters, new ships and six technologies.

Developer Gamexcite has launched a four-part expansion pass for the space strategy title Star Trek: Voyager: Across the Unknown. The first installment, Delta Chronicles, is available now and adds five missions, two playable characters, new ships and six additional technologies. The full pass is priced at $29.99 / £25.99 and will roll out through 2026.

Delta Chronicles includes five story missions inspired by Voyager episodes Distant Origin, The Omega Directive, Homestead, Cold Fire and Inside Man. Each mission presents alternative outcomes tied to the game’s branching narrative system.

The pack adds two playable characters: Engineer Reginald Barclay and Voth molecular paleontologist Professor Forra Gegen, each with distinct combat abilities. Players can encounter a Voth City Ship and a Ferengi Marauder that may be recruited as an ally. The new technologies extend options in the game’s tactical and strategic layers.

The expansion pass is split into four parts scheduled across 2026. Gamexcite plans to release the U.S.S. Equinox in September as the second installment; the ship will be available exclusively for a new game mode the studio has not fully described. Two further installments are planned between October and December and will add more missions, heroes, technologies and NPC ships. The final installment will open a new sector based on one of Voyager’s well-known episodes and include additional alternate-history storylines.

Delta Chronicles arrives alongside free update 1.8, which introduces seven ship quest events, balance adjustments and multiple bug fixes. Gamexcite says it will continue to deliver free patches and gameplay updates alongside the paid DLC, with further ship quests and balancing changes planned.

On the unrevealed game mode, the developer wrote: “We’re not quite ready to fully talk about that last one yet, but let’s just say the Delta Quadrant may soon become even stranger than before, adding many more hours of gameplay, challenging even seasoned Captains.” In a message to players the studio added: “None of this would have been possible without the incredible support we’ve received since launch… The Delta Quadrant is vast, and our journey through it is far from over – most importantly, because there’s always coffee in that next nebula.”

Across the Unknown is built around branching alternate-history scenarios that let players revisit moments from Voyager’s run and explore different outcomes. The Delta Chronicles expansion extends those narrative options while adding tactical content and additional ship encounters for players invested in the game’s characters and factions.
