Starseed: Asnia Trigger ends new content; servers stay online

Com2uS will stop adding major content and new Proxyans to STARSEED: Asnia Trigger after the July 23 “Yume” update; servers will remain live with rotating events and support.

Com2uS announced it will stop releasing major content and new Proxyan characters for STARSEED: Asnia Trigger after the July 23 update that introduced Yume. The developer confirmed the game’s servers will remain online and that rotating events and customer support will continue.

In a service notice, Com2uS wrote the Yume update marks “a point where it is no longer possible to provide satisfying long-term content updates.” The developer apologized to players and added the team had “carefully discussed every possible option in hopes of continuing to deliver a better experience,” but could not maintain “a stable level of quality while continuing to develop new content.”

Under the revised plan, the studio will end major updates and stop adding new Proxyans. Regular events will run on a rotation. Bingo, Match Pairs, Poster, Roulette, Workshop and Item Search will return on a two-week cycle, and Special Select Pickups will replace the previous pattern of introducing new Proxyans.

Com2uS stated the changes will take effect during scheduled maintenance on August 5, 2026. The update will remove some pass products from the in-game shop while other items remain available through weekly rotations.

As a final new character addition tied to the July update, Yume is available as the Day 1 reward in the Vacation Week 7 Day Check In Calendar Event. Players who wish to claim Yume or participate in the recurring events should follow the in-game calendar and the August maintenance timetable.

The company confirmed servers will stay accessible and that it will provide ongoing customer support. Com2uS also noted earlier plans to address a delayed Region Integration update and to improve security systems intended to maintain service stability.

The announcement does not declare an end of service. Scheduled content rotations and support will continue while the developer stops producing new long-term content.
