Steam Summer Sale 2026 begins June 25; runs to July 9

Valve launched the Steam Summer Sale 2026 on June 25. The sale runs through July 9 on the Steam storefront, and all discounts shown are valid for the full two-week period.

Average discounts across participating titles are about 45 percent. Common discount tiers include 50, 57 and 75 percent off, while older catalogue entries can fall as much as 90 percent. Valve does not publish a pre-sale count of participating games; recent editions of the sale have featured more than 4,000 discounted titles.

Several recent releases are receiving early significant markdowns, including Gothic 1 Remake, Resident Evil Requiem and Crimson Desert. Prices do not rotate daily during the event, so the listed price for a title remains the same throughout the two weeks. Titles sold as regional keys may have limited stock in some markets.

The sale arrives ahead of several scheduled releases later in 2026 and into 2027. Halo: Campaign Evolved enters early access on July 23 with a full release on July 28. The Blood of Dawnwalker is set for September 3, Gears of War E-Day for October 6, and Grand Theft Auto 6 has a confirmed console release on November 19 with no PC date announced.
