Talking Tom Gold Run adds Arena Wipeout survival mode

Outfit7 added Arena Wipeout to Talking Tom Gold Run, introducing elimination-style multiplayer tournaments where players compete in rounds to be the last runner standing.
Outfit7 has launched Arena Wipeout, a new mode in Talking Tom Gold Run that converts the game’s core running experience into elimination-style multiplayer tournaments. The update is available now in the mobile app and coincides with the title’s 10th anniversary.
Arena Wipeout places players in multi-round matches inside five-lane arenas that contain hazards and obstacles. Each round reduces the number of competitors until one player remains. The mode shifts emphasis from long-distance score-chasing to quicker reactions and positional survival against other runners.
Before matches, players join tournament lobbies where they can see opponents, customize gear and set player names. The update retains the game’s swipe-and-tap controls and adds instant tournament entry to reduce wait times between matches.
New players unlock Arena Wipeout after completing four standard runs. Players who already have the game can access the mode immediately.
Outfit7 released a limited-edition anniversary bundle alongside the mode, including a birthday outfit for Talking Tom and themed helmet, bike and plane. The company described the update as the game’s biggest yet and said it was designed to change the pacing and intensity of runs without altering core mechanics.
Outfit7 reports that Talking Tom Gold Run launched in 2016 and has reached 3.2 billion downloads. Company figures state players have run 341 billion kilometers, accumulated 556,000 years of total playtime and collected 90 trillion gold bars since launch.
According to Viktorija Karapeovska, product manager for Talking Tom Gold Run at Outfit7: “After ten years, the worst thing we could do was become predictable. With Arena Wipeout, we wanted to completely change the emotional pace of the experience. Every run now feels more intense, more immediate, and more competitive – while still protecting the core gameplay players have loved for years.”
