Team Falcons Lead Esports World Cup 2026 With 20 Entries

Team Falcons qualified for 20 of the Esports World Cup 2026’s 25 events in Paris, the most of any club and the largest opportunity to earn Club Championship points.

Team Falcons have qualified for 20 of the Esports World Cup 2026’s 25 events in Paris. Main-event competition began on July 6 and remaining qualifiers can still change final entry lists.

The Esports World Cup Foundation has allocated $30 million to the Club Championship, with $7 million reserved for the overall winner. Clubs earn Club Championship points when their teams or players finish inside the top eight of an individual event, so more entries increase the number of scoring opportunities.

Team Vitality has qualified for 16 events and can still add slots in CrossFire, EA Sports FC 26 and Street Fighter 6. AG.AL International has secured at least 15 entries and can attempt to qualify for Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six and Tekken 8 through Last Chance Qualifiers later in July. Virtus.pro and Aurora Gaming have entries in 11 events each, Gen.G Esports has nine, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, Twisted Minds, Geekay Esports and GodLike have eight apiece.

Eight of the top ten clubs by event count are members of the Esports World Cup Foundation’s Club Partner Program, a 40-team initiative that can provide up to $1 million a year in support for competitive operations and fan engagement. Geekay Esports and Aurora Gaming are the two clubs in the top ten that are not Club Partners; non-partners are not eligible to earn Club Championship points or share in the $30 million club purse even if they finish inside the top eight of events.

Final qualification lists may change as the remaining qualifiers conclude in July. Team Falcons currently have the most entries, which creates the most opportunities to score Club Championship points under the event’s top-eight scoring rule.
