TennoCon 2026: Brysko noir Warframe, Citrine Prime, Hex
At TennoCon 2026, Digital Extremes revealed Brysko, a noir-themed Warframe on present-day Tau, and announced Citrine Prime, the Iceblade of Narin update, Hex content and a tabletop game.
Digital Extremes used TennoCon 2026 to present new story content and seasonal products for Warframe. The studio revealed Brysko, a noir-themed Warframe set on present-day Tau, confirmed Citrine Prime, named its fall update Iceblade of Narin and announced a Hex tabletop product titled Fables & Frontiers.
The event opened with a sequence that links TennoCon’s ongoing narrative to recent events in the game: the Drifter abducts a version of Lotus during incidents tied to Lua and the Void, the Operator appears at the Relay Dry Docks, and the story moves to Tau. Brysko is introduced in the Entrati lab of Albrecht as a rebuilt, world-weary detective sent to infiltrate the inner circle of The Hunra, the power broker who controls the planet Fornax. Fornax will feature three distinct hubs on the same planet.
Brysko is voiced by Matthew Mercer. In gameplay and cinematic footage the Warframe uses a revolver-style firearm that spawns homing laser projectiles on impact and a card-throwing ability that damages targets. The reveal included a casino sequence, a vehicle scene and new music from the studio’s audio team. The Hunra is identified in the sequence as Aldis, a returning character shown in a darker role. Digital Extremes listed Brysko’s release window as 2026 without a specific date.
The fall update, Iceblade of Narin, will add Citrine Prime. Citrine is an ice-themed support Warframe described by the studio as the first female-focused frame in that elemental niche. The frame’s abilities provide defensive effects, crowd control, damage buffs and mechanics that increase Health and Energy orb drops. The update will include cosmetic content, including Deluxe skins for Qorvex and Banshee, and a planned rework for Banshee intended to improve the frame’s viability.
Viewers who watched TennoCon on Twitch received Mesa Prime. The studio also highlighted a new Mesa Heirloom skin for purchase.
Hex-related content returns in multiple forms. TennoCon introduced Amir’s Shockwave, a reskin of Nightwave, Warframe’s seasonal reward track. New Hex-themed music was previewed, including a song titled “Running Late” by the in-universe band On-Lyne and a track called “The Great Despair.” Digital Extremes announced Fables & Frontiers, a tabletop role-playing product with custom glyphs and character sheets for Hex characters and a dedicated chat option for groups. The tabletop release will remain available indefinitely.
Digital Extremes also announced a post-show touring plan under the TennoVIP banner with scheduled stops in Seoul on September 4, Xi’an on September 12, London on October 2 and Glasgow on October 4. The developer noted this year’s charity partners as London Cares and Sistema Toronto. The studio reminded players that Warframe is available on PC, consoles and mobile devices for Android and Apple platforms.
