The Sinking City 2 PC specs revealed as pre-orders open
Frogwares published PC system requirements and began pre-orders ahead of The Sinking City 2’s 18 August 2026 release.
Frogwares revealed the PC system requirements for The Sinking City 2 and opened pre-orders for the game, which launches on 18 August 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The studio requires Windows 11 x64 and an SSD, and lists a 70GB install size. DirectX 12 is required. For minimum settings, targeting 1080p at 30 frames per second on the Low preset, Frogwares lists an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or an AMD RX 5700 with 8GB of VRAM. The recommended specification targets 1440p at 60 frames per second on a Balanced preset and specifies an Intel Core i5-14600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or AMD RX 7900 XT with 12GB of VRAM. The studio noted both performance targets were evaluated using temporal super-resolution (TSR) and comparable upscaling technologies.
Frogwares also disclosed a late-stage technical change: the team moved the entire project to Unreal Engine 5.8 about two months before launch, citing performance gains as the reason for the transition.
Pre-orders are available now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99 / €49.99 / £41.35 and includes the Chthonic Arsenal weapon pack with three themed weapons named the Shale Mary handgun, the Breakwater shotgun and the Tektite Tommy SMG. The Deluxe Edition is $54.99 and adds the Arkham Field Kit, which contains three outfits, early Talent unlocks and a resource pack. The Premium Edition is $59.99 and adds the Holloway Manor bonus quest and 24-hour early access.
Publishing director Sergiy Oganesyan described the Standard price as a “fairness call,” noting the studio wanted to give as many people as possible the chance to play and referencing that many recent survival horror releases launch at $60 or more.
Frogwares, a studio that develops remotely across Ukraine and other locations, published the specifications and pre-order details to help players prepare their systems ahead of release.
