Totally Mall: Merge & Gossip soft-launches on Android

FARLIGHT has soft-launched Totally Mall: Merge & Gossip on Android in seven countries; the 1980s-set merge puzzle combines time travel, mall renovation and a murder mystery.

FARLIGHT, a subsidiary of Lilith Games, has soft-launched Totally Mall: Merge & Gossip on Android in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom and the United States. The game is available on the Google Play Store in those countries. FARLIGHT has not provided a timetable for an iOS release or a wider launch.

Players take the role of Heather, a middle-aged woman who wakes up in her 16-year-old body after traveling back in time to stop the murder of her best friend. The campaign directs players to investigate suspects, gather clues and piece together events connected to the Oasis Mall and the nearby town of Santa Bella.

Gameplay centers on merge-3 puzzles that advance investigations and unlock materials for mall renovation. Players can use those resources to restore the Oasis Mall by upgrading shops, selecting decorations, managing stores and serving customers. The game also offers character customization and includes light romance elements within the narrative.

Santa Bella features retro locations such as roller rinks, record stores and photo studios. Solving puzzles and collecting evidence opens new areas and narrative beats that expand the list of suspects and motives tied to the central murder mystery.

FARLIGHT published the title and is running the soft launch on Android in the seven named markets. The company has made no announcement about an iOS release or a global launch schedule.

The release aligns with a broader pattern in mobile casual games of adding stronger narrative and character-focused stories to traditional merge and match mechanics.
