Turok: Origins trailer shows co-op dinosaur hunts
Saber Interactive released a gameplay trailer for Turok: Origins showing online co-op dinosaur battles, weapon and skill upgrades, and a Fall 2026 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.
Saber Interactive released a gameplay trailer for Turok: Origins and confirmed a Fall 2026 launch for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer provides the first extended look at in-game action.
The footage alternates between first- and third-person perspectives as players confront dinosaurs, alien foes and large bosses across jungles, ancient ruins and alien landscapes. Combat shown in the trailer includes close-range fights with bows and shotguns and longer engagements with plasma rifles and other alien weapons.
The studio presented Turok: Origins as a reboot of the franchise rather than a direct sequel. Players will assume the role of warriors from the Order of the Turok who defend humanity while exploring varied environments and following the game’s narrative.
The trailer confirms online cooperative play, allowing friends to complete the campaign together and to face massive monsters and large-scale firefights. Several sequences emphasize coordinated group tactics against towering bosses and mixed human and alien threats.
Progression centers on an upgradeable arsenal and character customization. Players can collect Echoes in the world to enhance Turok skills, and weapons can be upgraded to alter their performance and utility. The trailer shows weapon options ranging from primitive bows to high-tech alien guns.
Saber Interactive has opened wishlists for Turok: Origins on Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store. No specific release date was given beyond the Fall 2026 window.
