JoyMore GAME opened a closed beta for Ultraman: Legend of Heroes 2 on Android beginning Sept. 15, 2026, in select Asian regions. The test is limited to Android users in those markets. Pre-registration is available on the Google Play Store, and players can apply for the beta through a publisher sign-up link.
The title is officially authorized and supervised by Tsuburaya Productions and is positioned as a sequel to the original Ultraman series. The developer says the game recreates the appearance, abilities and combat styles of characters from the franchise while allowing players to assemble teams of heroes to face established monsters from the IP.
Gameplay centers on team-based battles that include cooperative World Boss encounters and real-time player-versus-player matches. Players can collect Ultraman characters such as Zero, Tiga and Arc and confront monsters including Gilbaris, Zetton and Grimude. Each character is reported to have distinct abilities and signature moves adapted for mobile controls, including beam attacks and character-specific stances.
JoyMore GAME highlights features that support multiplayer interaction and competitive balance: coordinated co-op combat against large foes, real-time PvP modes and team-building mechanics. The publisher presents the PvP mode as designed to be fair rather than pay-to-win. Early descriptions emphasize visuals, effects and combo-based action.
A player active in community discussions wrote, “I grew up watching Ultraman and I’m excited for Ultraman: Legend of Heroes 2, especially with Tsuburaya directly supervising the game.” No wider regional launch dates or a timetable for a full release have been announced beyond the closed beta window.
The closed beta will gather player feedback and usage data that the developer can use to refine gameplay and systems before any broader release.
