V Project opens Android closed beta sign-ups in China

Elementa and developer V Studio will open recruitment this summer for the first Android closed beta of V Project in China, the companies announced. No exact start date or application details have been released.

V Project is a full 3D idol game revealed in January 2026 and scheduled for a wider mobile launch later this year. The closed beta is intended to test core systems and player interactions before the commercial release.

The recruitment applies only to Android users in China. Elementa has not specified the number of participants, whether the beta will expand to other platforms, or if recruitment will open in other territories.

Gameplay centers on a system called TOUCH that lets players deepen relationships with trainee idols through shared everyday moments, conversations and side-by-side interactions. The game offers multiple narrative perspectives for each character, allowing players to follow personal stories and emotional arcs for the initial trainees Leo, Oct and Near within a modern city setting.

Visually, V Project uses full 3D presentations with cel-shaded rendering and anime-inspired character designs. Elementa highlighted realistic environments, dynamic lighting and detailed models intended to support close-up interactions and storytelling scenes.

Elementa described the closed beta as an opportunity for players to test interaction and narrative systems ahead of release. The publisher said it will share recruitment schedules and application steps in the coming weeks.

For now, the closed beta remains limited to Android users in China and a final launch date has not been confirmed.
