V Project renamed StarToU; closed beta set for H2 2026
Elementa renamed V Project to StarToU and revealed core gameplay-rhythm performances, TOKI Interaction and TOUCH-powered memory scenes. A closed beta will run in select regions in H2 2026.
Elementa has renamed its 3D idol game V Project to StarToU and revealed core gameplay systems. Developer V Studio first unveiled the project in January 2026 and plans regional closed tests in the second half of 2026.
StarToU combines idol management, branching stories and rhythm gameplay. The Starlit Stage system handles performances: players set lineups, change outfits and configure card sets before rhythm-based shows.
A feature called Echo uses TOUCH technology to create memory-driven interactive scenes that let players revisit and influence moments with characters. Echo is part of an in-game entertainment community platform where fans can engage with idols through immersive content.
The game includes Star Journey and TOKI Interaction, which provide non-performance scenes and personal exchanges between players and characters. Group management and branching narratives determine each idol’s progression and story outcomes.
Elementa introduced MacGuffin, a four-member self-producing hip-hop idol group, as a central act in StarToU. The group concept has members taking part in creative decisions within the game’s systems.
Elementa announced recruitment for a China Android closed beta will open in summer 2026, followed by broader global testing. Closed tests in select regions are scheduled for H2 2026, with additional regional trials to follow before wider release.
The January reveal described the title as an empathy-driven 3D idol game; the recent gameplay showcase supplied details on how performance mechanics, memory systems and narrative branches will interact. Development will continue through phased regional testing before any full release.
