Vampire Crawlers Brings Card Battles to iOS and Android

Poncle’s first-person, turn-based dungeon crawler based on Vampire Survivors is now available on iOS and Android, with card-based attacks and combo-building.

Poncle released the mobile version of Vampire Crawlers about six months after the game launched on PC and consoles in April. The game replaces Vampire Survivors’ top-down survival battles with first-person dungeon exploration and turn-based combat.

Players follow set paths through catacombs, mechanical dungeons and ruined locations. Along the way, they encounter characters from the Vampire Survivors series.

Weapons appear as cards and activate in the order players arrange them. The sequence determines when attacks occur and which combinations are triggered. Players can add gems to cards to improve them. Certain weapon pairings create Fusions based on the weapon-evolution system in Vampire Survivors.

The game includes Turboturn, which skips activation animations and lets players queue multiple actions during battles.

The mobile release coincides with the free Death Parade update. The update adds two playable Crawlers, Big Troubler and Sir Ambrojoe, four Arcanas, four cards and a Moongolow Challenge Stage.

Vampire Crawlers costs $9.99 on the App Store and Google Play.
