Verity Minecraft mod tops 4.9M downloads in 28 days

PnTMC’s Verity Bedrock mod reached more than 4.9 million downloads on CurseForge within 28 days of its June 16 upload.
PnTMC’s Verity mod for Minecraft Bedrock received more than 4.9 million downloads on CurseForge within 28 days of its June 16 upload. The mod brings the yellow, smiley-faced Verity character from the viral video into Minecraft account worlds and is one of three mods officially supported by the series creator ThatMob.
The mod allows players to pick up and throw the Verity orb, ask it questions through in-game text and trigger it to play a short song. After extended play sessions, the mod can produce a disturbing visual event that mirrors the horror elements from the original video.
Other creators have released Verity mods on CurseForge. Undertalelover’s Bedrock mod has reached about 2.8 million downloads. VarmiteYT’s mod is the most downloaded Java Edition option, with more than 800,000 downloads in under two weeks after its release.
CurseForge hosts uploads and update logs for both Bedrock and Java mods. Bedrock Edition runs on consoles, mobile devices and Windows 10 and 11, while Java Edition runs on desktop. Both editions have active mod communities and public download counts on the platform.
The Verity concept originated in a YouTube video published in May 2026 that has surpassed 20 million views and prompted multiple fan-made recreations. Minecraft has a history of community-created horror figures, including long-running entries such as Herobrine and Entity 303.
Mod authors continue to release updates and version changes. Players can find the Verity mods and their update histories on CurseForge, where download totals are listed alongside release notes.
