War Legends brings unit-level control to mobile RTS
War Legends launched on Android and will arrive on iOS, offering a real-time strategy game where players micromanage individual units in 1v1 to 3v3 matches, campaigns and tournaments.
War Legends launched on Android and will be released on iOS at a later date. The game is a real-time strategy title that lets players control individual units in matches ranging from 1v1 to 3v3, and in single-player campaign and tournament modes.
Developers built the game to reflect the control and pace of older PC RTS titles. Players issue orders to individual soldiers, direct raids on enemy bases, manage resources and construct buildings. The design includes hero summoning and consumable magic scrolls alongside base-building mechanics.
Playable factions are humans, orcs, elves and goblins, each with distinct units and heroes. Matches require planning at the base level and tactical micromanagement during skirmishes, with raids intended to damage opponents’ economies and defenses.
Multiplayer supports head-to-head and team play, with player-versus-player options spanning two- to six-player games and formal tournament modes. A single-player campaign offers progression for solo players.
The studio wrote it adapted unit-level control for touchscreens to preserve precise commands on phones and tablets. The Android release is available now; the iOS build will arrive on an unspecified schedule.
War Legends contrasts with many mobile strategy titles that use automated combat by centering manual control in each engagement. The game retains familiar fantasy faction themes and match formats used in classic RTS designs.
