Where Winds Meet adds new regions ahead of first anniversary
Where Winds Meet has added Qingzhou and the Isle of Penglai. Hutuo will launch Nov. 13, while an anniversary livestream is scheduled for Nov. 2.
NetEase Games and Everstone Studio have added Qingzhou and the Isle of Penglai to Where Winds Meet. The game’s Hutuo region is scheduled to launch Nov. 13, ahead of anniversary activities planned for November.
Qingzhou is described as “the most welcoming region in the Jianghu.” Its residents help travelers who lose their way. The region introduces the Inkbound Order, a sect that seeks peaceful solutions to disputes, and the Ribbon Drum, a new weapon type.
Three new world bosses are available in Qingzhou. The Isle of Penglai opened on Oct. 29, giving players another area to explore.
Hutuo is described as a “mud-and-steel warzone.” Players will face the test of Xia and follow a martial code based on justice and guardianship. The region will add Yuen Woo-ping’s Dual Spears Martial Art and two board-game modes.
Horse Racing Chess uses living chess pieces, dice and a race across the board. Jianghu Tactics requires players to arrange characters, equipment and positions to create combinations during each round.
NetEase Games and Everstone Studio have planned additional anniversary activities for November. Further details are expected during the anniversary livestream on Nov. 2.
