Whisperborne JRPG opens pre-registration on Android, iOS

Whisperborne, a pixel JRPG from Neptune Corp., is open for pre-registration on Android and iOS. The App Store lists a February 1, 2027 release date.

Neptune Corp. has opened pre-registration for Whisperborne, a story-driven pixel JRPG developed with teams that include Infinite Stairs and Open Puzzle Box. The game is available to pre-register on the Google Play Store and the App Store; the App Store listing shows a February 1, 2027 launch date.

Whisperborne is set on the continent of Mira. The single-player campaign follows Elle, who takes up a sealed holy blade called Marintica, and Sophia, a girl who disappeared 3,000 years earlier. The narrative links the two characters and frames the main story across the game’s campaign.

Gameplay uses turn-based strategy combat that emphasizes party positioning and chaining skills. Players can summon allies and monsters with different classes, abilities and personalities. Character progression includes 114 weapon breakthroughs and a system of engravings for adjusting stats and abilities. The title supports both portrait and landscape play modes.

The release announcement lists both combat and non-combat content. Planned activities include co-op raids, challenging dungeons and a large story campaign, alongside optional leisure features such as mining, shopping and fishing. The game includes full pixel art cutscenes and exploration across locations on Mira.

Technical and social features described in the announcement focus on multiplayer raid content and team-based encounters that require tactical party composition. Neptune Corp. says players who pre-register through the Google Play Store or the App Store will receive launch notifications and related updates.
