Wild Rift 7.2 ‘Feast On’ adds two champions, item and map changes

Riot Games will release Wild Rift Patch 7.2 “Feast On” on July 9, 2026, introducing champions Yunara and Cho’Gath, equipment and bounty reworks, a Ranked map update and ARAM augments.

Riot Games will deploy Wild Rift Patch 7.2, titled “Feast On,” on July 9, 2026. The update is part of preparations for Wild Rift’s sixth anniversary in October and follows a two-part preview series, with the second episode scheduled for July 2. The patch will include new champions, gameplay system changes, map and progression updates for Ranked play, AAA-ARAM mode additions, and event skins.

Patch 7.2 adds two champions. Yunara is a marksman who deals both physical and magic damage, with strong mobility and scaling intended for poke and backline positioning. Cho’Gath is presented as a Fighter/Brawler whose kit focuses on life siphoning and growth: he gains strength and size as he secures takedowns.

Core systems will be revised. Boot enchantments will be removed and replaced with a new set of standalone active items. The way enchantments and active items function will be overhauled. The bounty system will stop depending on kill streaks and will instead scale with the total gold a player has earned in a match. Riot frames these updates as an adjustment to how power and risk are managed during games.

Ranked play will receive visual and progression changes. The Ranked map will receive a seasonal summer visual update, including redesigned jungle monster visuals. Ranked progression will be changed to make rank advancement easier while increasing rewards tied to in-game performance.

AAA-ARAM will begin a new season alongside the patch and will add battle augments designed to alter match flow. Riot plans to detail further mode-specific changes and the new augments during the July 2 preview. The patch will also include skins and event content timed to the anniversary window.

Ahri will receive a visual rework that refreshes her ability and attack effects to improve visual clarity and presentation without changing her core role as a mage.

Riot will publish the second part of the Patch 7.2 preview on July 2. The full update goes live on July 9, when players will be able to access the new champions, revised items and bounty system, the updated Ranked map, the AAA-ARAM season, and the anniversary event content.
