Wizzy Animals: Defense launches with animal wizard roguelike

SUPERBOX released Wizzy Animals: Defense on Android and iOS. The mobile title is a roguelike defense game in which players summon animal wizard heroes and use spells and relics to fend off waves of zombie enemies.

Players take the role of students at a Magic Academy tasked with protecting the last safe haven from a zombie outbreak. Each playthrough is a randomized run in which players recruit and upgrade animal heroes to survive successive encounters and boss fights.

Hero recruitment is randomized each run. Available characters include hamsters, frogs, cats and rabbits, each with distinct abilities. Recruited heroes can be combined into teams, leveled up and evolved into stronger forms to face tougher enemies.

Combat uses an auto-battle system with pre-battle choices. Before fights, players select and upgrade heroes, equip spells or relics and may draw randomized cards and items that affect a run. Encounters include repeating enemy waves, large zombie bosses and dungeon sections that offer extra rewards for successful clears. Battlefields are themed versions of familiar locations such as classrooms, alchemy labs and libraries.

The game includes live-service features alongside its roguelike loop. Wizzy Animals: Defense offers timed events, mini-games, collectible magical relics and player Clubs for shared progress. The game supports redeemable codes and is set to receive regular updates from the developer.

SUPERBOX, the studio behind Eight! Warriors, designed the title with bright, character-driven visuals and animal-focused character designs. Wizzy Animals: Defense is available now on Google Play and the App Store, with additional in-game details and update notes provided by the developer.
