Worlds 2026 Anthem Centers on Faker, Limits True Damage
Riot Games’ “Know My Name” features Faker and T1 in its Worlds 2026 video, while True Damage appears mainly on billboards and in background scenes.
Riot Games released “Know My Name” ahead of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, which is being held across New York, Texas and Los Angeles. The song follows recent Worlds anthems including “Star Walkin’,” “Gods,” “Heavy Is the Crown” and “Sacrifice.”
The video follows Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok’s career and his achievements with T1. Faker has won 10 LCK titles, two Mid-Season Invitational trophies and six World Championships. Three of his Worlds victories came consecutively, and T1 entered the 2026 tournament with a chance to win a fourth straight title.
True Damage appears through the League of Legends champions Akali, Ekko, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo. The group is shown mainly on billboards and in background scenes, while the champions perform as backing figures in the video.
True Damage debuted in 2019 with “GIANTS.” The group followed earlier League of Legends music projects featuring “POP/STARS” and “Mortal Reminder.” Those videos focused on the fictional performers and the champions they represented.
The “Know My Name” video also includes few extended appearances by other major League of Legends players. Rasmus “Caps” Winter, who represents EMEA and entered the Hall of Legends this year, appears briefly. Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok and Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk are also absent or shown only briefly.
Most of the video’s imagery focuses on Faker, T1 and Korea. It does not feature clear references to New York, Texas, Los Angeles or North American League of Legends players. The 2027 World Championship is scheduled to take place in Korea.
