The game uses room-by-room dungeon layouts, twin-stick shooter combat and run-based randomness.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The title began as a Flash game roughly 15 years ago and Rebirth released 12 years ago. Since Rebirth\u2019s launch, developers have added expansions, new items and online multiplayer features.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Store data shows the player count rose sharply while the sale was live, with the new peak occurring during that 24-hour period. The listing and discount prices were available on the Steam store during the Steam Summer Sale.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recent peak is the highest lifetime concurrent-player figure for
