The event adds six collab-exclusive dungeons that are available only during the campaign and runs through July 12.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Players who include Gintama collab characters in their teams receive boosted progress in a new Gintama quest added for the event. The boost applies while the collab characters are active in a player&#8217;s team during the event.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign also distributes in-game rewards and limited-time items intended to help players clear difficult floors and to obtain collab characters. After July 12 the Gintama dungeons and event bonuses will be removed from the game&#8217;s regular rotation.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gintama is a comedy-action anime that premiered in the mid-2000s. The series follows former samurai Gintoki Sakata together with Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura in an alternate-history Japan occupied by alien visitors called the Amanto. Characters from Gintama have been featured in mobile game collaborations previously.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Puzzle &amp; Dragons pairs match-three puzzle mechanics with role-playing elements and regularly runs crossover events that add themed dungeons, characters and rewards. GungHo released other updates to the game in June; the Gintama collaboration is included in the recent content updates.
