Bloober Team explains that using Decoy with mobility skills can enable stealthy takedowns or controlled offensive engagements against groups of opponents.<\/p>
Lazarus also adds the Gladius, presented as an upgraded, more lethal version of the dagger available at the start of The New Dawn. The Gladius is designed for close-quarters fighting and is intended to offer higher melee lethality than the original weapon, matching the Pathfinder\u2019s more confrontational combat options.<\/p>
The developer diary frames the expansion\u2019s narrative as a more personal thread: the Pathfinder faces the antagonistic group known as The Collective largely alone. The studio notes a larger enemy roster and encounter designs that lead toward a final confrontation.<\/p>
