Fans and industry observers are waiting for an announcement from Luke or Rockstar Games about the returning cast.

Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, have not published a full cast list for the next mainline entry. The developer typically limits early information about voice talent and story details.

Speculation on social platforms and fan forums has suggested possible cameos or larger roles for characters from earlier games. None of those claims have been verified by Luke or by official statements from Rockstar.

Without confirmation from the actor or the publisher, several outcomes remain possible: Michael could return in a major role, make a brief appearance, be recast, or be absent from the new title. Rockstar has included returning characters in some past projects and introduced new protagonists in others.

Michael De Santa first appeared in Grand Theft Auto V, released in 2013. Ned Luke provided both voice work and motion-capture performance for that role.

Grand Theft Auto 6 remains under development and is among the most anticipated games in the industry. Details on casting and narrative elements are expected to be released by Rockstar closer to the game’s launch window.

Ned Luke, who voiced and provided motion capture for Michael in GTA V, has not confirmed the character will appear in Grand Theft Auto 6.
