The announcement came with a new teaser shown at Summer Game Fest and a developer diary outlining the studio’s long-term vision.

Gone gold means the launch build is ready for manufacturing and distribution. The studio said post-launch work will focus on polishing and fixing bugs before further announcements about future releases.

The game’s opening act takes place in Vale Sangora, a fictional 14th-century region inspired by Eastern European and Balkan cultures and set among Carpathian-like mountains. Environment Artist Adam Payet explained the team combined elements from several countries to create a location that feels familiar without matching any single real-world village.

Narrative Director Jakub Szamałek described The Blood of Dawnwalker as the first entry in a series and summarized the studio’s plan: ‘With each game in the series we want to push the time forward, take you to different places, and explore different timelines. We want you to see Coen changing as he gains experience, as he ages, as he learns more about the hidden truths of the world.’

Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz said the immediate priority is finishing the current release and confirmed sequels are planned internally. He added the team has sketched a larger story arc and presented a present-day conclusion during the Summer Game Fest showcase.

Moving a medieval vampire tale across centuries presents design choices for later entries. Developers will need to decide how to adapt or retain the game’s cinematic melee combat in eras that introduce firearms and other technologies. The studio will also determine how much core mechanics and tone should change between installments.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a vampire-themed role-playing game built around cinematic melee combat and a historically inspired setting. Rebel Wolves has not provided release dates for sequels or detailed gameplay changes for future entries and said it will discuss those topics after the current launch is complete.

Rebel Wolves confirmed The Blood of Dawnwalker has gone gold and plans sequels that will advance protagonist Coen’s story across centuries and new locations.

[12

post-2058","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-latest

Blood of Dawnwalker Goes Gold;
