Outliver: Tribulation is an African-inspired third-person horror shooter released for iOS and Android. The game puts the player in the role of a female soldier who flees insurgents and finds herself trapped in a supernatural area. The main objective is to undergo an ancient ritual and complete a series of trials in order to escape.

Gameplay combines third-person combat and exploration with survival-horror elements. Players use conventional firearms and special equipment to fight creatures based on African myths. The game includes resource management and items that alter combat performance, such as charms that change abilities and a night-vision function for dark areas.

The core loop centers on combat encounters and trial-based objectives tied to the ritual the protagonist must complete. Levels include environmental puzzles alongside enemy encounters. The title emphasizes shooter mechanics within a horror setting rather than a pure puzzle or adventure approach.

Visuals and animation quality vary across the game. Some sequences display rough edges and occasional animation issues. Other parts show higher polish and more detailed work. Early reviews and player reports note both the technical roughness in places and the presence of multiple gameplay systems that add variety to encounters and progression.

Narrative details focus on the soldier’s flight from insurgent violence and her arrival in the supernatural setting. The storyline frames the trials and the ritual as the character’s route to escape, linking combat and environmental tasks to the larger objective.

Creature design draws on African folklore rather than the European and American monster traditions commonly used in mainstream horror games. The game presents regional myths as the basis for enemy types and environmental themes.

Outliver: Tribulation is available now for download on iOS and Android devices. The release targets mobile players who prefer third-person camera perspectives, combat-focused horror, and narrative-driven mobile experiences.
