Its team includes developers who previously worked on Marvel Contest of Champions. The company has opened pre-registration on its official website and is accepting sign-ups for a closed beta ahead of launch.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Matches in DCKO are designed around tag-team play, with players swapping between two characters during combat. Characters can be upgraded with abilities and boosts to change their loadouts. The studio highlights a Neo-Comic visual style for the game&#8217;s presentation.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The developer has not released a full character list. It also has not provided details on how upgrades will affect competitive balance, how matchmaking will work, or whether there will be progression caps or ranked modes. Information on monetization, the in-game economy, game engine, server infrastructure and cross-platform support has not been disclosed.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DCKO is scheduled for 2027 but no exact launch date or regional rollout plan has been given.
