The release will include Piapro characters such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO and KAITO.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crypton described Re:Merge as a follow-up to the original Mystery Music Planet mobile game. The first title was a card-based music RPG released in 2014 and ran until its service ended in June 2020.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details about gameplay, genre and monetization have not been disclosed. The developer has not revealed core mechanics or game modes and has said it will provide more information at a later date. Promotional imagery and design elements have led some observers to expect merge-style puzzle mechanics, but that has not been confirmed by Crypton.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main visual for Re:Merge was created by artist Koucha Majitaro and shows the six Piapro characters smiling beneath a star-filled sky. Crypton included the image in the initial reveal while withholding specifics on in-game systems and progression.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crypton directed interested players to the game&#8217;s official site for updates and said further announcements will follow.
